cove, an AI-powered architectural services firm, today launches its inaugural AI for Architects Pitch Off competition to spotlight groundbreaking AI-driven solutions in architecture. The virtual competition invites architects, designers, technologists, engineers, students, and AI innovators to pitch how artificial intelligence can transform architecture and design.

A recent report found that 66% of architecture leaders and experts believe AI will be essential to their business within three years. As a result, many teams are looking for opportunities to identify, pilot, and test these technologies to establish a trajectory for their goals. The pitch off aims to spur innovation and showcase AI-powered solutions that can further revolutionize architectural design and workflows.

This competition seeks pitches that integrate AI into architecture to solve industry challenges or enhance industry workflows. This could be a conceptual AI solution, a prototype or proof-of-concept, or an AI-powered workflow enhancement.

“AI for architecture is the future – it’s how we’ll build better buildings, deliver greater value, and drive real innovation,” explained Sandeep Ahuja, CEO and Co-founder of cove. “With this competition, we want to spur new ideas, recognize the brilliant minds driving AI adoption forward, and find solutions to architecture’s biggest challenges. We’re excited to celebrate these ideas and advance the conversation on AI in our industry.”

Submitting individuals or teams must submit a pitch deck to be considered. From these submissions, five finalists will be selected to record their pitch, which will be used for the final judging deliberation and live winner announcement on April 17, 2025. The winning team will receive a $5,000 grand prize and the opportunity to pitch their idea to a real investor.

The submission portal opens on March 3, 2025, and all entries must be submitted by April 8, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Submissions can be made at thearchitecturecompetition.com.
