SpecterOps, a provider of adversary-focused cybersecurity solutions, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named SpecterOps’ Head of Channel Don Landers to its prestigious 2025 Channel Chiefs list. The annual list recognizes the leading IT vendor and distribution executives who are driving strategy and setting the channel agenda for their companies.
A 15-year channel industry veteran, Landers oversees channel and alliance partnerships at SpecterOps. He has a demonstrated history of successfully growing channel programs at various companies throughout his career, including Mimecast, Sumo Logic and Sophos. Last year, Landers spearheaded the launch of SpecterOps’ channel partner program, which has blossomed into a fast-growing program, gaining 40 qualified partners in its first year. He is adept at helping early-stage and maturing companies align with boutique, national and global channel partners.
“This recognition from CRN, a renowned channel industry news source, is truly an honor,” Landers said. “Working in the channel is very rewarding. It allows me to engage with diverse partners, learn their stories, and collaborate with them to identify and solve customer challenges with improving identity security and fortifying Microsoft Active Directory environments. I’ve established many longstanding partner relationships throughout my career. I look forward to cultivating many more as we continue to grow the SpecterOps channel partner program and empower organizations worldwide with sophisticated cybersecurity solutions that combat advanced identity-based threats.”
SpecterOps’ mix of products and services provides many advantages for partners and creates myriad cross-sell and upsell opportunities. BloodHound Enterprise, SpecterOps’ Attack Path Management security solution, is a SaaS platform that defends Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD/Entra ID environments against Identity-based Attack Paths, an often-overlooked security issue. More than 90% of enterprises rely on AD for identity and access management, making it a frequent target among threat actors. BloodHound Enterprise empowers partners to fortify these environments, add their own remediations or professional services on top, and drive margins. Additionally, SpecterOps is known broadly for its open-source tools and research; employees have made more than 400 security community contributions and created more than 90 open-source security tools.
The Channel Chiefs list, released annually by CRN, showcases the top leaders throughout the IT channel ecosystem who work tirelessly to ensure mutual success with their partners and customers.
“This year’s honorees exemplify dedication, innovation, and leadership that supports solution provider success and fosters growth across the channel,” said Jennifer Follett, VP, U.S. Content, and Executive Editor, CRN, at The Channel Company. “Each of these exceptional leaders has made a lasting channel impact by championing partnerships and designing creative strategies that get results. They’ve set a high bar in the channel, and we’re thrilled to recognize their standout achievements.”
CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs list will be featured in the February 2025 print issue of CRN® Magazine and online beginning Monday, Feb. 3, at www.CRN.com/ChannelChiefs.
