D3, the leader in smart security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR), today announced its Legacy SOAR Migration Program, which enables organizations to move from underperforming SOAR tools to D3’s Smart SOAR in record time, with minimal burden on their team. 70% of D3’s new customers are replacing their SOAR tool, which illustrates the demand for an effective migration program. D3’s migration methodology has been honed through supporting these customers as they move their playbooks, scripts, and other assets into Smart SOAR for a seamless transition.

“We constantly hear from legacy SOAR buyers who have put years of time and money into their SOAR and are afraid of losing that investment when they transition to another tool,” said Gordon Benoit, Founder and President of D3. “With our migration program, that investment does not have to be a sunk cost. We can take your hard work and make sure it continues to pay dividends in your use of Smart SOAR for years to come.”

SOAR is a critical piece of security infrastructure, and organizations do not always have the cycles available to replace their incumbent tool. That is why the Legacy SOAR Migration Program includes tailored plans for customers moving from each major legacy SOAR vendor. Following D3’s SOAR migration blueprint, D3 transforms all of the customer's configurations, including scripts, playbooks, incident forms, and reports, into the equivalent D3 functions, which are more robust and intuitive, requiring less work to operate. D3 takes on all the heavy lifting, ensuring that the customer does not have to tie down resources during the transition.

The program is necessary because legacy SOAR has failed to live up to its promises. Legacy SOAR tools struggle with reliability, scale, and cost, and never solved the fundamental problem of alert overwhelm. Customers flock to Smart SOAR because it actually turns the noise down in the SOC, reduces alert volume, and provides reliability at an enterprise scale.

The migration program launch continues a busy week for D3, following the company’s announcement on Tuesday of Ace AI, an exciting collection of artificial intelligence capabilities for Smart SOAR. You can learn more about the Legacy SOAR Migration Program and Ace AI at Black Hat USA on August 7th and 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada. The D3 team is at Booth 769.
