DMI Announces Strategic Divestiture to Sharpen Focus on Digital Transformation and Managed Services

DMI, a leader in digital transformation and managed services, today announced the divestiture of its commerce, marketing & strategy, and digital engineering services segment to Encora, a leader in digital engineering services. The divested segment primarily served commercial clients through a mix of domestic and international delivery. DMI will retain its managed services offering which supports public sector and commercial clients.

Following the sale, DMI will focus exclusively on providing a range of innovative technology solutions to Federal, state and local governments and providing managed services to public sector and commercial clients. With over 1,200 employees, DMI offers an integrated suite of agile software development, next-gen engineering solutions, and managed services that allow clients to obtain measurable outcomes and reduce excess cost necessary to invest in other parts of their organization. This divestiture is a natural development following three acquisitions focused on public sector clients, including Simplex Mobility, a provider of asset and expense management software. DMI is known for its focus on mission performance improvement and brings vast experience serving clients within the defense, federal financial, federal health, state & local, and commercial enterprise markets.

Following this divestiture, DMI will continue its collaboration with industry leading partners, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, and maintain its leadership position in key areas of digital transformation such as:
