iQmetrix, North America’s only provider of Interconnected Commerce solutions for telecom retail, hosted the only event of its kind in North America targeted at this niche market. The theme of this year’s event was Innovation | Insights | Inspiration | Interconnection and SummitX achieved all those and more.

In its annual Telecom Industry Address, which was the keynote presentation to kick off the event, iQmetrix unveiled two brand-new product suites that it is preparing to launch to market in the coming months, along with a third currently in prototyping phase.

  • Customer Lifecycle Management: This is an entirely new product set that taps into AI to create out-of-the-box audience segments without needing technical teams or complicated processes. This fast, easy segmentation allows retailers to identify areas of opportunity or risk and build a marketing strategy that is personalized to the wireless customer. Customer Lifecycle Management is planned to launch in Q1 of 2025.
  • ReconcilePro: This is an advanced reconciliation solution that uses seamless integrations and intelligent automation to ensure accuracy and reduce workloads, transforming tedious reconciliation tasks into easy, error-free processes that ensure wireless retailers are getting paid in every channel they should be. ReconcilePro is in beta launch in the remaining months of 2024, with a hard launch planned for Q1 of next year.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: iQmetrix is exploring another AI-driven suite of solutions, this one transforming product lifecycle management, including supply-chain and inventory management. The company is in the prototyping phase of this technology and, with enough proof of concept, hopes to develop it into a new product suite in 2025.

Waleed Ayoub, Chief Technology Officer at iQmetrix, said, “We’ve been hard at work over the past 18 months, exploring the myriad ways iQmetrix can bring innovation to telecom retail. At SummitX, we were particularly excited to share the latest, including novel uses of artificial intelligence, and a special emphasis on how generative AI is transforming customer engagement, optimizing operations, and creating new revenue opportunities.”

In addition to these planned product launches, iQmetrix showcased further innovation by bringing its annual Hackathon to the SummitX main stage. The iQmetrix Hackathon is a yearly internal competition between teams of iQers, designed to generate new product and process ideas and solutions. At the closing session of SummitX, five of the Hackathon teams’ ideas were pitched to the audience, who voted live on a winning solution.

The winning idea was SalesIQ, which is an AI-driven virtual assistant that overlays Salesforce to help wireless store sales reps personalize their customer service with insightful personal information at their fingertips. This solution, along with some of the other ideas arising from the Hackathon, will now be explored and tested further by iQmetrix product and development teams.

Yet more upcoming innovations and prototypes were on display in the iQmetrix Product Showcase, a section of the SummitX show floor that was dedicated to demonstrating the solutions currently being developed by the company. These included advancements in mobile point-of-sale technology and explorations of new ways to combat credit card fraud, among others.

Trish Sale, Vice President of Product at iQmetrix, said, “The Product Showcase is where our attendees can talk to the Product Managers from iQmetrix about what offerings we have created or are working on, or even ask those questions about their existing implementations of iQmetrix’s Interconnected Commerce solutions. And it’s a chance for us to get direct feedback from our users to make sure we understand the problems they might have, and how we can solve them.”
