Juvare®, the leader in situational awareness and critical incident preparedness and response technology, has been granted Impact Level 5 (IL5) Provisional Authorization (PA) from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), certifying it has passed rigorous security requirements for the complex and expanding DoD cloud environment for the Juvare Federal Cloud (JFC).

Juvare’s IL5 authorization, issued by the Defense Information and Systems Agency (DISA) and sponsored by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), enables the PFPA to advance its mission of “Protecting Those Who Protect Our Nation”—ensuring rapid response and informed decision-making in the face of evolving threats. PFPA’s mission is central to the security of the Department of Defense, tasked with the responsibility of protecting the Pentagon’s personnel, facilities, and operations.

“This is an enormous achievement that recognizes Juvare’s ability to provide modern and highly secure solutions the DoD is looking for,” said Rajib Roy, Chief Executive Officer at Juvare. “With cybersecurity, emergency preparedness, governmental efficiency, and more dominating the federal priority list, this authorization gives the U.S. Government better access to the tools we provide to protect the communities they serve. It’s a recognition that’s been earned through our relentless commitment to data security and innovations that respond to real-world threats and risks.”

The DoD uses Impact Level (IL) classification labels as part of a comprehensive security categorization system, with IL5 encompassing higher sensitivity Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Mission Critical Information, and National Security Systems (NSS). This authorization ensures that DoD agencies have access to Juvare solutions, including the Unified Command Platform (UCP) and Juvare Exchange®, designed to advance real-time situational awareness, streamline communications, and coordinate emergency response operations that help the U.S. Government enforce a Zero Trust Strategy.

Building on Juvare’s JFC FedRAMP High Agency ATO authorization in 2023, the IL5 authorization demonstrates Juvare’s commitment to the federal-civilian and military ecosystem, enabling the U.S. Government to focus on protecting our communities and our nation.
