LocatorX, the trusted provider of secure IoT sensors and supply chain data visibility, is excited to announce the relocation of its headquarters to NeoCity, Central Florida’s premier technology and innovation district. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth in a dynamic tech ecosystem.
Originally founded in 2014 in Jacksonville, LocatorX moved its headquarters to Atlanta where it has continued to operate for a decade. With product enhancements focused on defense and government needs, and backed by recently awarded multi-year contracts, the company has reached an inflection point in its growth.
Chester Kennedy, CEO of LocatorX, commented, "After much consideration we determined that NeoCity offers the environment most conducive to continue to grow our company. The new location places us at the epicenter of semiconductor innovation and provides access to talent from surrounding universities. By establishing our headquarters in NeoCity, we are able to leverage resources to enhance our R&D capabilities, expand our workforce, and accelerate bringing our cutting-edge solutions to market faster for our defense, government, and enterprise clients."
“NeoCity continues to attract innovative technology leaders who recognize the unique advantages of our high-tech ecosystem,” said Osceola County Commission Chairwoman Viviana Janer. “LocatorX's decision to relocate its headquarters here validates our vision and investment in NeoCity. It is more evidence of the recent success of this strategy and commitment.”
NeoCity has rapidly emerged as a hub for technological advancement, offering state-of-the-art facilities, access to top talent, and a vibrant ecosystem that fosters partnerships between public and private sectors. The move will be completed by the end of January.
“Our future depends on being able to deploy revolutionary IoT sensors as well as to continue to scale and evolve our visibility platform. Having our headquarters collocated with such entities as BRIDG, imec, Plug and Play, and SkyWater Technology will create the environment to keep us on the cutting-edge. NeoCity Academy and the partnerships with University of Florida and Valencia College also help to ensure that local talent and a strategically skilled workforce will be there to support our long-term growth in the decade ahead,” added Kennedy.
