MultiPlan Corporation (NYSE:MPLN), a leading provider of data-driven cost management solutions that deliver transparency and promote fairness, quality and affordability to the U.S. healthcare industry, is accepting applications for its Rural Health Grant now through December 15, 2024 from rural healthcare providers in the U.S. The grants provide financial resources to introduce or expand services, education, screenings and other programs aimed at improving the health of people in their communities.

The MultiPlan Rural Health Grant is available to hospitals, rural health clinics and federally qualified health centers participating in any of MultiPlan’s healthcare provider networks, including PHCS, PHCS Medicaid, MultiPlan, MultiPlan Medicare Advantage, Beech Street, HealthEOS, Texas True Choice, IHP, AMN, HMN and RAN. Eligible providers will be notified by mail or email. An application for the grant is also posted on MultiPlan’s website at https://www.multiplan.com/philanthropic-programs.

The total grant money will be allocated to one or more providers. During the review of the grant applications, the MultiPlan grant committee will determine the award amounts and number of recipients. Grant recipients will be announced in February 2025.

MultiPlan introduced the program in 1995 and has helped fund health services supporting a variety of initiatives, including safety upgrades to a passenger bus that will transport patients to appointments in rural Alabama. Information about grant recipients is available on the MultiPlan website. For questions about the grant, contact MultiPlan at rural@multiplan.com.
