New England Tech Announces Reduced Tuition Pricing for Skilled Trades Programs Starting Spring 2025

Since 1940, New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) has been a leader in high-quality, hands-on education in the skilled trades. Today, NEIT proudly announces a 47% reduction in tuition across a variety of skilled trades programs, furthering its commitment to providing affordable and accessible education that empowers the next generation of professional trades men and women.

According to the World Economic Forum's 2025 Future of Jobs Report, skilled trades workers are projected to be the fourth fastest-growing occupation globally by 2030, underscoring the critical need for qualified professionals in these fields.

With this tuition reduction, New England Tech is affirming its dedication to addressing the urgent demand for skilled professionals and supporting workforce needs across the region. As industries across the nation increasingly depend on highly trained trades professionals to build and maintain critical infrastructure, NEIT remains steadfast in its mission of equipping students with the practical skills, hands-on experience, and certifications necessary to thrive in these high-demand industries.

Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training classifies the skilled trades as a High Demand Occupation, with over 15,000 specialty trade contractors needed in the state by 2032. Nationally, the Bureau of Labor and Statistics projects a total increase to 169 million job openings within trades and manufacturing by 2032.

New England Tech provides skilled trades pathways across a variety of disciplines including Welding Engineering, Building Construction, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Heating, Automotive, and Marine Technology, among others. Each degree program equips students with practical skills and industry certifications ensuring graduates are prepared to excel in these fields and make an impact, all at an affordable cost.
