TreviPay Crossroads, the inaugural two-day B2B payments conference, announces its partnership with Kansas City-based WeCode KC. The conference, which is hosted by TreviPay, the most trusted B2B payments and invoicing network, is preparing to welcome 250 finance, sales and digital leaders to Kansas City from October 2-4, 2024. The conference will showcase WeCode to help further the organization’s important mission of exposing youth to technology-based careers while giving the organization a platform to promote their programming, build their network and reach new partners.

Furthering TreviPay’s commitment to building a fintech community that is innovative and inclusive, Crossroads selected WeCode KC as its community partner. WeCode KC provides youth with the opportunity to learn technology concepts and leadership skills to create a pipeline of future-ready professionals. Crossroads attendees will have opportunities to learn about WeCode’s mission and meet the team in the Crossroads Innovation Hub during the event.

“Exposing the next generation of tech talent to the booming tech community in Kansas City is key to our mission of creating a pipeline of future-ready tech professionals,” said Sharmelle Winsett, Vice President of Development and Strategic Partnerships at WeCode. “It’s incredible to work with TreviPay, as both of our organizations are committed to preparing youth for opportunities in the technology field.”

As an organization that has been a part of the Kansas City community for more than 40 years, TreviPay has numerous support initiatives through the company’s philanthropic group, Community Fountain. “TreviPay stands with so many worthy organizations across the region and the globe. We are delighted to add WeCode to the growing list of organizations we champion as they are instrumental in providing opportunity to young people no matter their zip code or family’s financial status,” said Allen Bonde, TreviPay CMO and Crossroads Chair. “As an industry that is constantly evolving, we know the importance of preparing the next generation for a successful career in fintech and beyond.”
