“Release 18.2 is a game-changer, introducing new call group messaging capabilities and advanced Microsoft integrations — like ZAC for Teams — that enhance operator efficiency, team collaboration, and customer engagement like never before,” said John Osgood, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “This is a testament to the exceptional groundwork laid by our engineering team with our Release 18 — making this far more than just a routine update.”

The 18.2 system release introduces significant new capabilities to the user experience to improve productivity and deliver even more value to Zultys’ Unified Communications platform. Key updates include:

  • Inbound/Outbound Call Group Messaging: Agents can now send and receive SMS/MMS messages with advanced handling options for customer interactions.
  • Improved Agent Web Chat UX: Agents can more efficiently manage customer inquiries with an active session list that now includes web chat along with calls and SMS.
  • Department Filtering: ZAC now allows users to be organized into departments, enabling more efficient contact management.

Mobile ZAC 1.2 introduces powerful new messaging capabilities designed to optimize team efficiency and ensure a consistent brand response. Available for both iOS and Android devices, Mobile ZAC 1.2 offers feature parity and a visually consistent interface across platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. Highlights include:

  • Inbound/Outbound SMS & MMS: Communicate via text or multimedia messages directly from the app.
  • Web Chat Notifications: Respond to website visitors in real-time from the app, streamlining customer engagement.
  • Messaging Management Options: New reply, forward, and delete capabilities in Mobile ZAC make chat exchanges more efficient and productive.

Users can now leverage the Zultys for Outlook Extension to schedule and edit ZAC conferences directly within Outlook, with automatic syncing and support for single sign-on and light/dark modes.

The new ZAC for Teams offering seamlessly integrates Zultys’ advanced communication tools into the Microsoft Teams interface, delivering a unified communication experience within a familiar environment for Teams users. With ZAC for Teams, users can manage phone calls, SMS, MMS, call groups, and voicemail escalation — all without leaving the Teams platform. The ZAC navigation bar, featuring Zultys icons, is embedded at the top of the Teams screen, bringing communication and collaboration to a single pane of glass.

Release 18.2, these application updates, and the new integrations are now available, further strengthening Zultys’ commitment to delivering innovative solutions tailored to the evolving communication needs of businesses.
